Every fall we head to New York City to soak in the fall colors, eat our way through the city, and buy scarves to sell at Bungalow 47 that no one else in our area has. We love to bring exclusive items home from our travels for our customers! It’s one of the things that makes shopping at Bungalow 47 so unique, as we travel around the country finding different items to make your shopping experience with us fun and special.
It’s always a fun trip and this year was especially entertaining since I went over Halloween weekend. The Halloween Parade, held in Greenwich Village, was nothing short of spectacular and was crazy enough that it made me feel like I was in New Orleans for Mardi Gras again! But New York has it locked down for the place to see weird stuff, I mean, where else can you see the Muppets waiting for the subway?
After eating my fair share of snowball cakes from Empire Bakery (to die for) in Chelsea and Banana Pudding from Magnolia (clearly I need a diet now), we headed down to our secret spot to choose our favorites and bring home some new scarf designs. The store is stocked with all the goodies, check out what we got! There’s lacy ones,
and soft patterns
fun plaids and some textures
and our favorite winter stash of knitted infinity scarves! (Yes, we still have some Spartan green ones, not shown in photo.)
These look great with our vintage boyfriend flannels that we brought back from Texas! If you missed that post, check them out here. Better yet, head on over to the shop now for best selection!
The lacy ones come as classic oblong scarves, along with the triangle shape too.

We also brought back some super warm, fleece lined hats with a faux fur ball! Super cute and they keep your head so warm, you’ll think it’s summer!
Come visit us soon and check out all the other fun gifts we have for all your holiday needs!
See you soon, Jill
